JJPR provides design and editorial services for BASF’s bi-weekly internal e-newsletter, as well as the annual publication mailed to employees, key stakeholders and community leaders. The team also coordinates media outreach efforts including writing and distributing news releases and media alerts regarding partnerships, events, accomplishments and more, gaining media attention from local, regional, and national media outlets. JJPR researches and plans media for BASF, handles creative development and oversees production of digital and print advertisements, including banner ads, internal billboards and more. The team develops collateral materials including brochures, trade show banners, community outreach materials, and coordinates videography and photography for company meetings, events, and community projects. JJPR completed a quantitative research study to gain insight into the community’s awareness and sentiment regarding BASF, which provided a foundation for building positive community outreach efforts. JJPR coordinates efforts to increase positive brand awareness among the community throughout the year including door-to-door campaigns and volunteer work at local nonprofits by BASF employees. In addition, JJPR provides media training for BASF’s extended site leadership team, and provides crisis communication support to the McIntosh and Theodore site operations.
